GM will launch the car in South Korea on June 1 next, after the sale in Korea, Cruze5 will be introduced in Europe in the second semester and third quarter, while in the United States late this year 2011.
Cruze will be introduced with two types of engine variants. With a capacity of 1.8 liter gasoline engine and turbo-diesel engine with a capacity of 2.0-liter Euro V, and which both have six-speed automatic transmission.
GM Korea also hopes to add Cruze5 GM market share in Korea in 2011 to 10 percent this time. Last year the figure reached 8.1 percent. Until April 2011, GM's market share has reached 9.6 percent following a fairly high demand for Chevrolet cars in Korea.
In Korea Cruze5 gasoline sold for about U.S. $ 15,650 to U.S. $ 20,250. What price Cruze5 to overseas markets has not been ascertained.
