Lakers lags behind Mavericks

NBA defending champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, getting behind in rival against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference semifinals. Lakers lost 81-93 and are now scattered 0-2.

Despite playing at home the Lakers, Staples Center Stadium, Mavericks appear excellent since the tip off.
Mavericks closed the first quarter with a 26-20 advantage.

In the second quarter, marked by Lamar Odom's three-point shot at the last second, the Lakers finished 49-51 thins out. But the Mavericks 68-62 away at the end of the third quarter and won 93-81.

On the Lakers, Kobe Bryant producing 23 points, added 18 points and 13 rebounds from Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol who posted 13 points plus 10 rebounds.

With this result, the Mavericks a 2-0 lead and opportunity to advance to the Western Conference finals at two games following because they will host.
